COURSE BREAKDOWN:
Giving you the tools needed to make good Coffee – Level 1
1. PARTS OF THE ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE and THEIR FUNCTIONS.
(Covering all the parts of the Espresso Machine)
2. MILK
( Techniques and Temperature as well as Taste of your Milk)
3. WHAT MAKES A PERFECT SHOT OF ESPRESSO?
(Identifying a good shot of an Espresso, Identifying of roasts)
4. CAPPUCCINO, LATTE, AMERICANO.
(Difference, ratio, appearance, etc)
5. HOW TO BACKFLUSH/CLEAN YOUR ESPRESSO MACHINE.
(Following the corrects steps and measurements)
6. WHAT IS A DRY PROCESS AND WHAT IS A WET PROCESS?
(The difference between the two processes)
7. ROBUSTA AND ARABICA COFFEE BEANS.
Fundamentals Course
This will be held on a Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
Course is a mix of practical and theory.
